This simple yet beautiful circlet can be worn by nearly anyone (Except, perhaps, very young children) and is fully adjustable because it is tied on in the back.
This beautiful AQUA AURA Circlet is an elegant way to add a touch of magic to any costume, whether it be for ritual or for a Renaissance Fare costume. It is hand made and created to be used alone, or over a veil. Either way, it looks very nice.
This base of this circlet is a flat pattern wire of Red Brass with a floral pattern on the surface. The color of Red Brass appears very much like gold. This pattern wire is approximately 5/16 inch wide and holds its shape very well. The chain is also brass. The crystal is a polished Aqua Aura, wrapped with Red Brass wire. The chain and the crystal are attached to the main piece with slender wire.
The inside of the circlet has been covered with a narrow piece of leather. It was glued on. I added this piece for comfort and so the wires on the inside would not snag on anything. This piece of leather also helps the band stay in place. The tie in the back is sturdy cotton cord.
This circlet will fit most folks, since it ties on (Not including children). I do not recommend bending it too much once you have it fitted snugly to your head. Wire naturally weakens when bent too much.
