This Crescent Moon pendant is a one of a kind creation. The wavy inclusions within the shell catch the light and it almost appears to be glowing from within. It has wonderful, subtle rainbows shining with the texture also, if you move the shell slightly as you look at it in the light.
The Gold Lip Shell layers can be seen on the opposite side as a portion of slightly darker shell on the top half and along the edge of the pendant. This shell has a slight concave (or convex, depending on which side you are looking at) shape, naturally.
The pendant can be worn with either side out, to represent the waxing moon or the waning moon.
The wire used to wrap this gorgeous moon pendant is .925 Sterling Silver round wire. The bail has been made extra large so you will have more choices of chain, cord, ribbon, leather lace, etc. to hang it from to wear or decorate. I do not recommend using liquid silver cleaner as it could discolor the shell. Instead, I recommend a polishing cloth.
